Tuesday, January 27 at 3:30pm ET
Location:
Zoom
Lead by:
Professor Eve Keller
For the first session, we will discuss Englander's title story “What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank": a provocative portrait of two marriages in which the Holocaust is played out as a devastating parlor game, inspired by Raymond Carver’s piece, “What We Talk About When We Talk About Love”.
This book is available in audio from the NLS. You may contact your local NLS library to have the audio cartridge mailed to you, or you can download it from the BARD website or BARD Mobile app. (Note: if you are not already a member of NLS, it is a free service from the Library of Congress that provides accessible talking books and braille to anyone with difficulty reading standard print. Check out their website for more information or call us and we will give you the email and phone of your local NLS branch).
